Успешным оказалось участие харьковского боксера Ильи Тогобицкого в национальном первенстве – он стал чемпионом Украины в своей возрастной категории (22 года). Об этом сообщили в Федерации бокса Харьковской области.
Илья уверенно победил во время финальной встречи (весовая категория до 75-ти кг) своего соперника из Черновицкой области Никиту Алистратова и завоевал золотую медаль. Руководство Федерации поздравило боксера и его тренеров Б. Даниленко и Р. Черникова с заслуженной победой. Также сообщается о том, что еще двое представителей харьковской школы бокса – Даниил Дрыжак (категория 60 кг) и Андрей Кашкаров (+92 кг), заслужили бронзовые награды чемпионата страны.
Соревнования проходили с 24-го по 30-е января в Тернополе. Для еще двух боксеров из Харькова – Васифа Керимова и Елены Иванисовой, они стали неудачными, спортсмены проиграли уже на старте чемпионата.
